It is very interesting the way that you came up with your name, a friend gave me my name LadyG. We worked together and i told him that i was trying to come up with a name and he suggested that I use the initials of my last name plus lady. Hope that you have a good day. posted by: 0hdgk7 (reply) post date: 09.17.09 (4:03 am) Reply to: LadyG WAA~~!!! ^^ I'm soo happy LadyG!!!! I'm glad you are on-board around here, and hope you continue to write posts and leave comments. This is a great community. PastorDave? I started blogging around here about 4 years ago, my first try. If I were to start today, I'd probably use a less religious name, just to keep from limiting my initial opportunity to interact with others and also because lots of times I blog about other than religious matters. I'm pastor of a small Baptist church in the Atlanta area, and enjoy writing and learning from others as we converse. And, my first name is David. Thus, "PastorDave"! posted by: barnabus1 (reply) post date: 09.18.09 (11:58 am) Really nice post!!! When I joined tblog, I couldn't have the name Eddie my nickname from my middle name, or EddieW or Duane and a few others I tried, so I tried Barnabus, no dice, but Barnabus1 worked! Barnabus is from the name Bar Nabus, meaning Son of Nabus...and Nabus in the old Aramic language mean encouragement, so Son of Encouragement! Scince that is mostly what I do anyway it just kind of fit, who I am!! Keep the posts coming...they interesting!! posted by: 0hdgk7 (reply) post date: 09.23.09 (9:16 pm) Reply to: PastorDave Wow...so you're a paster for REAL!! cool..and yeap I'm planning on doing just that when I'm free and when I'm in the mood to browse ^^ Thanks for the reply PastorDave. And how should I address you? -DG posted by: 0hdgk7 (reply) post date: 09.23.09 (9:22 pm) Reply to: barnabus1 Wow... Interesting~!!and cool! I've never heard of Aramic though! I like that name: Son of Encouragement! Do you speak that language? Is it an ancient language or your mother tongue?? From which country, place on this Earth??LIke the way how you put your personality into your name hehe ^^ Now thinking again..I could've done something like that too! Thanks for the reply ^^ -DG posted by: barnabus1 (reply) post date: 09.24.09 (9:17 am) Reply to: 0hdgk7 The Ancient Hebrews spoke both Hebrew and Aramaic Hebrew was the Israelite language, Aramaic was the language of the rest of the populace in that area... Never been there, nor my folks or grand parents either...Just a bit of history I read!! :«) |
